As President of ALTIVIA, Philip “PJ” Block oversees the company’s operations and business strategies. Prior to this, he was Senior Director of Product Management at Univar Solutions. Throughout his career, Mr. Block has been instrumental in developing strategic relationships with customers and suppliers, negotiating key contracts, and managing acquisitions, with a focus on financial, supply chain, and carve-out integration.

He spent 28 years with Univar and its predecessor, Nexeo Solutions, after beginning his career at Ashland Chemical Company, which later became Nexeo Solutions following a divestiture. PJ joined Univar through its 2019 merger with Nexeo Solutions and held various roles in sales and procurement management.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky and an MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.
